The CELG Library was created to meet the informational needs of the professionals linked to the Center. It has a specialized collection in Psychiatry and Forensic Medicine, including general works, reference works, periodicals and DVDs. The CELG Library is the second bigger library in the country specialized in Psychiatry. It has more than 3 thousand books and 73 periodical titles, offering to its associates, in addition, access to the Capes Portal and research in Data Bases of the health area (Pubmed, PsycInfo, Lilacs, Scielo). It maintains a cultural exchange with other national and foreigners scientific entities, promoting the publication of works in Psychiatry and related areas; organizes symposia, debates and clinical meetings. Since 1960, it continually organizes the Jornada Sul-rio-grandense de Psiquiatria Dinâmica (Rio Grande do Sul Dynamic Psychiatry Encounter), an event recognized in the scientific milieu as one of the most important in the area, congregating around 1000 participants. It also publishes the Brazilian Journal of Psychotherapy, which debuted in 1999, as a commemoration of the 40 years of CELG. Since then, with three yearly editions and national circulation, it publishes scientific articles in different psychotherapeutic tendencies. ScheduleMonday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
